Originally formed in 1992 to provide specialized loan recovery services to public agencies and private lenders, CRA was one of only 25 firms in the country chosen by the FDIC to participate in a public-private partnership under the JDC (Judgment Deficiency & Charge-Off) Initiative for the resolution of hundreds of millions of dollars in debt from problem loans as a result of the thrift crisis.
CRA works with banks, private sector lenders and investors nationally to resolve and recover on distressed real estate and commercial debt including secured and unsecured non-performing loans, judgments, deficiencies and charge-offs. CRA provides the same services for legacy loans and loans acquired through merger or acquisition.
CRA has built a quality team of loan servicing, recovery and workout specialists, and has over 25 years of experience in this specialized niche of the loan servicing industry. All recovery operations are supervised by the company’s founder and co-owner, a seasoned professional with decades of direct recovery experience and are conducted under the further direction of CRA Management Committee. This committee is comprised of the principal owners, firm in-house counsel, and selected department heads.
